    My car was always running to hot, the more rpm the hotter it got, after changing the radiator fans, removing the thermostat a CO Leak test brought the certainty that one head gasket was shot.
     Finally I decided to have it fixed and will use the opportunity to improve/replace certain aged parts after almost 20 years of  my car's life.
     - bringing the car
 - removing the engine
 - removing the left head
 - cleaning and detailing thermostat housing
 - cleaning and detailing carb velocity stacks
 
          - stainless steal headers (not installed, sent back)
 
          - insulating engine bay
 - removing the right head
 - detailing further parts, distributor mount etc
 - cleaning the Carbs
 - cleaning the Cylinder Heads
 - Refreshing and insulating the original headers
 - detailing and overhouling the water pump
 - Clutch and Flywheel
 - cleaning the engine block
 - relocating the fuel filter
 - reinstalling the heads
 - ignition: distributor and plug wires
 - replacing broken brake ducts
 - refreshing the water pipes
 - preparing the engine for installation
 - installing the engine
 - tuning the engine and drive home...
