Countach QV #GLA12997

Since the Air Pump was blocked on my car (like many others too) I decided to have a stainless steel custom exhaust built.
Goal was to have a muffler which looks 100% original, same dimension, same numbers etc. to be able to pass registration test with this exhaust.
In the exhaust are 2 100 cells race catalysts which are bringing the emissions down, the engine runs at 3,5% CO and has 900 ppm HC, after the catalysts have become hot, the car produces 0,66%CO with 80 ppm HC.
Meanwhile I removed the whole Air Pump stuff since it is no more needed.
I still have a set of redone headers, sanded and chromed, awaiting installation...

Problem of stainless steel, it changes colour due heat

Left you can see a joint of a BMW 3/5-Series, next the original Lamborghini joints
Right are the 3 broken original joints, they use the same since 1971!
The Joints are also from Mercedes (Walker, Fonos, Tenneco 21-80023)
The bicycle cable was to fix the luggage Hood mechanism, you need 3,5m
