Holidays in Umbria/Toskana before 40th Anniversary of Lamborghini

9-11 May was the 40th Anniversary of Lamborghini.
One weekend before the italian club organized a Raduno at Rome.
We drove to Italy on Monday the 5th May joining some friends who visited Rome. Location was Castelione del Lago at the well known Lago di Trasimeno where Ferrucios Wineyard is located (Panicarola).
One the way to Toskana/Umbria we made a Stop at Reggio d'Emilia, when I suddenly smelled burnt electronic, oppening the engine lid I saw smoke coming out of the alternator. I immediately fired the engine to cool the alternator.

On tuesday we went to Ferrucio's Wineyard where we met his second wife at the Golfclub and his daughter Patricia at the Wineyard bureau.

Ferrucio's personal Countach, the car was originally red.

Wednesday we visited Lago di Bolsena, Simon with his orange Diablo SV of the UK Club joined us. Now my battery was dead, it was the voltage regulator of the alternator which has burnt at Reggio d'Emilia and now the battery was empty.
Luckily enough Lamborghini used a Bosch Alternator and after waiting till Lunch time was over we drove to Viterbo to get a new voltage regulator. Installed the piece and the car was running again.

Thursday we visited the famous wineyard of Antinori and tested his delicious wine, but the whole time I still had a bad feeling on my alternator.
